My High End Wishlist!

My High End Make Up Wishlist:

Hi everyone! im back with a wishlist, I though I would write one of these posts because they are one of my favourite to read!

1.  YSL Babydoll Mascara

I have wanted this mascara for a while now as I have read/watched a ton of reviews and every one of them has been praising it! also im a sucker for pretty packaging!! and this product has some of the prettiest packaging I have ever seen!

2. Benefit Rockateur Blush

Again I like the packaging on this product, I know that a lot of people find it tacky but I think it's nice and different!! I have wanted a benefit blush for a ages but just never got round to buying one. I love all the benefit blush shades but this one has to be my very favourite!

3. NARS 'Gaiety' Blush

NARS blushes iconic I think! So I think of it a must have in a Make up collection but I am yet to own one unfortunately!! I love pink shades of blush as an everyday staple and this would be perfect.

4. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish (Soft and Gentle)

This product is another very hyped up product in the beauty blogging world and I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype for me!

5. Urban Decay Naked Palette

This is another cult favourite beauty product and from looking at all the naked palettes, I think that I would get the most use out of these shades as I mostly wear neutral shades!

Empties #1

Product Empties #1

I thought I would do any empties post as I seem to have hoarded quite a few empty items over the past few weeks!

Victoria's Secret Spray (Pure Seduction):
This has to be one of my favourite scents ever! It is really long lasting, strong but not too overpowering and feminine as most of the VS sprays are! I would recommend everybody just going into the shop and smelling this! I will be buying this again when I go shopping for sure!

Batiste Dry Shampoo:
I have kind of fallen out of love with the product recently as it used to be my favourite dry shampoo but the past few times I have used it, it just hasn't really done anything to my hair or made it look any different. I'm not sure if it is because I have used it for a few years now! but I will be trying a new dry shampoo out!

Soap and Glory Hand Food:
I have already included this item in a few blog posts as it is my favourite hand cream and I have already got 2 back ups of this product!

Soap and Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo and Conditioner:
Again another product I have mentioned a few times! I bought the minis to just try out and I will be repurchasing the full size bottles as I loved both the shampoo and conditioner!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer:
This is is my favourite highlighting concealer and I have already purchased a new one! I have reviewed this product in my favourites blog post!

Along Came Betty So...Much Bubble:
This range is available from Tesco and I have various products from the range and I love them all! As the name suggest it is a bubble bath! and it does produce a lot of bubbles and you only need to use a little bit! The scent is mainly lemon.

Ted Baker (Butterfly Wings) Body Spray:
I always get this spray in gift set's for Christmas, this fragrance just smells so fresh and kind of sweet, I already have another bottle of this as I got a few Ted Baker sets for Christmas!

Impulse (True Love):
This has been a staple of my because they are just so handy to keep in your handbag at all times! I love most of the scents in this range but this on is my favourite!

Maybelline Baby Lips:
I have the mint and hydrate flavours/colours, I liked these and the fragrance but I don't think that they did that much to my lips like hydrate them or moisturise much! So im not too sure if I would repurchase these!

Soap and Glory Favourites!

Soap and Glory Favourites:

I thought I would do this post as Soap and Glory is one of my favourite skincare brands and I wanted to share my favourite products with you!

The Righteous Butter:
I have been using this body butter for a few years now and I think it is the best body butter/moisturiser I have ever used! It sinks into the skin so easily and doesn't leave an oily/sticky residue. I prefer to use this when I have just got out of the shower/bath as I feel that is when it works the best. I always repurchase this product and I recommend it for all skin types! I also love the smell which is citrus/fruity!

The Scrub Of Your Life:
This scrub is amazing!! It leaves your skin so smooth and unlike the 'Flake away' scrub which I really don't like, it does not sting your skin! I find this scrub more suitable for sensitive skin as I don't find it as harsh. The smell is the original soap and glory scent.

Glad Hair Day Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have already written a review on these products in my current haircare routine blog post so please check that out!

Clean On Me Shower Gel:
I have used this product for a few years now as I love the smell which I think is the original scent and the creamy texture. It is a clarifying cream so it feels fresh and leaves you skin smooth and soft.

Hand Food:
I have used a lot of hand creams as I have really dry hands and I have found that this is the best one as it dries quickly and does not leave and oily film on your hands which I really dislike!! Again I love the scent as I do all the Soap and Glory products!

Heel Genius:
I don't really use foot creams but this one is amazing! You can put it on at night and leave it to soak whilst wearing socks! I only dislike I have is the smell as it kind of minty but I can put up with that as the product is so good!

Mini Boots Haul!

Mini Boots Haul:

Hi Guys ! im back with a mini haul, I had a voucher for Boots so I thought I best use it before it expired at the end of the week!! I didn't get a huge amount as not many products caught my eye! but here are the things that I bought!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation:

This foundation is amazing! I know that this is a firm favourite in the Beauty Blogger world! This is my second bottle, I use the shade No 51 (Light Vanilla) I would say that this foundation is medium to full coverage. It gives the skin a healthy glow as the name suggests!

Loreal Collection Privee (Julianne's nude):

I have Cheryl's nude already from this collection and it is my favourite nude shade I have in my make up collection, So I thought I would try another colour and I choose this one. This is more of a pinky nude than the brown toned nude I have. The consistency and formula is the same with all the lipsticks I think. This shade would compliment any skin tone as it is a lovely pink shade!

Collection Little Mix Range (Jade's Lipstick)

I bought this lipstick because it caught my eye as I was looking to buy a collection lipstick as I don't think I have bought one before and I really liked this colour, it is kind of a browny nude and you can never have too many nude lipsticks!

Collection Lip liner:

I bought this lip liner to wear with the Loreal lip stick but I think I could wear this with a lot of my lip stick as it is a neutral pink. The shade is in 17 clover pink. Lip liner always makes my lip stick apply much easier and lasts longer!

Seventeen Photo Flawless Primer:

I have a gone in to more detail in my January favourites blog post as it is my favourite primer of the moment! I stocked up again as I'm not too sure if it is being discontinued as it was in the sale! :( The texture is very silicone based but I don't mind that even though I know it breaks some people out, as it hasn't done it to me (touch wood!!)

E.L.F Make up Mist & Set Spray!

E.L.F Make up Mist & Set Spray:

I received this spray for Christmas and have been using this ever since. This is the first setting spray I have ever used and I am very impressed! It keeps my make up in place for hours, the most I have worn it is for 5 hours and my make up was still looking fresh and in place. The scent is fresh and it includes aloe, green tea, cucumber and vitamin A,C & E. the cucumber and aloe is the strongest smell but it isn't too overpowering and it doesn't leave your face sticky whilst it dries! It is inexpensive if you compare it to the urban decay setting spray prices, it cost £3.75! I would really recommend this product as it is affordable and does the job it is supposed to do very well!

January Beauty/Skincare Favourites!

January beauty/skincare favourites:

This is my first monthly favourites and I love reading these blog posts as I buy a lot of the products mentioned in them! Some of these products are new but a few of these are old favourites!

I have individual blog posts on the Loreal Lipstick and the Botanics cleansing face wash.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer:

I have been using this for about a year now and have repurchased it as it is my favourite concealer to use for my highlight and contouring routine as it gives a luminous glow which I like, I don't use it for blemishes because of the glow and obviously don't want to draw attention to them!!

Seventeen Phwoar Paint Under Eye Concealer:

Another concealer for you! I have found that this is the best under eye concealer, I don't really get dark circles a lot but I still use this nearly everyday. It is very think but creamy so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and you only need to use a little bit of product. I find that it doesn't crease like some under eye concealers.

Seventeen Photo Flawless Primer:

I purchased this primer just after Christmas as it is the best I have ever used, It likes the skin feeling so smooth and I find it makes my foundation last all day and doesn't dry out my skin like others have. I got this in the sale for £1 (bargain!!) I wasn't sure if it was being discontinued so I bought a few tubes! I hope it is still in the collection though as it is excellent!

Along Came Betty: Clearly Perfect Skin Tone Correcter:

I love the 'Along Came Betty' range which is available from Tesco, I think it is kind of like their version of Soap and Glory as it has similar packaging and product names! This is supposed to brighten skin and tone down any redness, I have scaring and it has toned them down and made my skin look brighter. You apply it before your regular moisturiser day and night.

La Roshe Posay - Effaclar Duo:

This stuff is a god send!! I use it everyday, I had scaring that was very red and I also have breakout prone skin and since I have been using this I have had very few breakouts and the scaring and redness has improved dramatically! I had used a tonne of products like this and they have never worked for my skin, so I recommend this product to everybody!!

Soap and Glory: The Righteous Butter:

My favourite Soap and Glory product ever! I have been using this for a few years and it is still my favourite body moisturiser. I love the smell which is the original soap and glory scent and it doesn't leave your skin sticky for ages like some others I have used!

MUA Undressed Palette:

This is one of my all time favourite palettes, it may only be £4 but it is amazing quality and you would think it was much more! All the colours are highly pigmented most are metallic and a few matte shades, this is a neutral palette which is kind of more suitable for everyday use. I will be repurchasing this soon as I have hit pan on nearly every shade!

Seventeen: Skin Wow 3 Way Highlighter!

Seventeen: Skin Wow 3 Way Highlighter/Primer:

This was the first item I had ever purchased from the seventeen range, I think ever since the packaging has been redesigned and some of the products reformulated it has appealed more to me. The product can be used 3 different ways as the name would suggest! It can be used to prime your face before foundation application, added to your foundation and as a highlighter.

I have used it for all three uses and I love them all! When you use it as a primer it gives you this gorgeous glowy/dewy skin that shines though the foundation and not in an overpowering way. When added to foundation I would say it gives you the same effect as when used as a primer but a bit more shimmer. As a highlighter I like to put this on the tops of my cheeks and on the bridge of my nose, Its a really amazing highlighter as it lasts for hours and when it catches the light it gives lovely subtle glow and  you only need to use a tiny bit for all of the uses and it it highly pigmented.

I would recommend this product to everybody as it is suitable for all skin types and tones and I  will  definitely be repurchasing this!

Beyoncé Perfume Gift sets!

Beyoncé Perfumes!

I thought I would do a post on these perfumes as I use these as everyday fragrances. The perfumes I have are 'Heat', 'Midnight Heat' and 'Pulse'. I got the 'Heat' gift set for Christmas and the other two I bought in the sale for £10 at boots! (Bargain!!!) I love all the bottles and they look great on your dressing table!

Heat:

In the gift set there was a shower gel and gold sparkling body lotion as well as a 30 ml Perfume. The scent is described as floral with almond macaroon, honeysuckle nectar and crème de musk. It is quite long lasting not as long as I would have liked! The body lotion smell is strong and you can smell in when you move which I like and it it moisturising.

Midnight Heat:

This scent is my favourite out of all three as it can be used for both daytime and evening, I would say that this one is not the strongest smell but I find this one the most feminine. It has notes of Star fruit, Dragon fruit, Peony and warm amber to name a few. A body lotion and shower gel is also included. This is the fruitiest and lightest perfume so if you like light scents then this one is for you!

Pulse:

This scent is is very strong with the smell of orange and jasmine being the strongest mixed with musk, but the overall smell is very woody and citrus orientated. Pulse is the perfect everyday fragrance as it is light and fresh! The shower gel smells exactly the same as the perfume and is very long lasting.

Overall, I would recommend each of these perfumes as there is a scent for everybody whether is be fruity or woody, or just need an everyday fragrance these would be perfect for you!

What's In My Bag!

What's in my bag!

I love reading these posts and watching videos of this tag, so I thought I would do my own! I don't really carry a lot in my bag just the essentials now which is unusual as I used to have all sorts of rubbish in it! This bag is just the right size for everyday and it is not too small and not too big!

I am currently using my favourite bag, which is from Zara £29.99 I purchased it about a year ago now. I always go back to using it as I think that it is a classic type of style. It is kind of a cracked leather effect with studs down the side panels and silver hardware. I think Zara is the best place on the High Street to purchase handbags because they are so well made and last for ages, mine has no marks at all even though I've had it for about a year!

DKNY Purse:
I love DKNY purses! ,this one is just the DKNY logo with red leather, I've had this one for a while now this is the second one I've bought and they are so worth the money! They are so hard wearing and never seem to go out of style. The size is just right not too big or too small and can easily fit in to a clutch bag if needed!

Paperchase Notebook:
I always carry a notebook and pen with me, and I loved the design on this one and also the pen with little Russian dolls on because I am obsessed with them!!

I feel that some find of spray/perfume is a handbag must have! I got the Ted Baker mini spray for Christmas and it smells lovely and fresh. I also have and impulse body spray in True Love which is my favourite one. The lipstick that I am wearing for the day will be in my bag and today I had the Cheryl Loreal one and the Natural Collection lip gloss in barley sugar. A Lip balm is also another must have!

Hand Care:
I NEVER go anywhere without hand sanitizer!!! and also hand cream and the Soap and Glory one is my favourite.

Ray Bans:
Ray bans make are the best sunglasses ever in my opinion!!  These are always in my bag as you never know when it it going to be bright/sunny and in England you have to get as much wear out of them as you can!! I have the classic Wayfarer's in black. To me this style is time less as they look as stylish now as the did in the 1950's! I'm not sure if these ones are limited edition as the have to logo on the inside of the arms.

Alexander McQueen Scarf:
This scarf is my pride and joy and I take it every where with me! I have the Cashmere blend scarf and its it super soft I prefer this blend to the original. These colours go with near enough most outfits so suitable for every day! I would urge anybody to purchase one of these scarves as I think they are an investment and compliment any outfit!

Spring Nails!

Spring Nails...

As Spring will soon be upon us I thought I would have a look at some pastel/light nail polish shades instead of the dark reds and purples that I wear in winter time! I love spring and bright pastel colours. In my opinion I feel that nail colour can make an outfit pop!!
I chose colours from Essie and Sinful colours, both of these brands make a huge range of colours and they include some of my favourite nails polishes!

L-R Essie 'Mojito Madness', 'Easy going', 'Bikini So Teeny', 'Glass Pink' and 'Cascade Cool'

All of the polishes are opaque after 2 coats, I love how smooth they apply because there is nothing worse than clumpy nail polish!! Glass Pink is a glittery pink but you can't really tell from the picture. I would highly recommend these colours and I will be wearing them throughout spring!

(Sorry about the messy nails! im not the best at painting them)
