Book Review| One Night: Promised Jodi Ellen Malpas

Book reviews have become one of my favourite posts to write as i am such a bookworm, i love writing about what i have read.
If you have any suggestions on books i could read, please comment below! :)

'Livy notices him the moment he walks into the coffee shop. He's heart-stoppingly stunning, with a blue-eyed gaze so piercing she's almost too distracted to take his order. When he walks out the door, she thinks she'll never see him again. Then she finds the note he left on his napkin . . . signed M.'

This book is similar to Fifty Shades in the sense that the narrative is a rich business man sees a average girl and has to pursue her. I did find this quite boring in some parts as it was repetitive. There are 3 books in this series and i would like to read the other just to see what happened but i wasn't compelled to rush out and buy it!
You can purchase it here.

Review| VO5 'Plump it up' Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is a product that i am always on the look out for and i hadn't seen this one before but i don't think it is a new product. The product is for fine, flat or oily hair and this particular one is for volume as there is another dry shampoo in the range called 'Refresh me quick'. The scent is a light fruity one and it's really refreshing but not overpowering.
The price of this ranges from £1.99 -£3.59 depending on where you buy it. I bought mine from Savers for £1.99.
This dry shampoo is one of the better ones i have tried as it does give you volume but also refreshes your hair! I like that the bottle is compact but still has the same amount of product as a normal bottle! I will definitely be repurchasing.

Review| Burberry Kisses

If you have Twitter you probably saw the Burberry Kisses sample campaign going around where you got a free sample of a lipstick. I choose the Nude Kiss shade.
They are so cute because they are and exact replica of the full size version only smaller!
The full size lipsticks costs £23.00 which i think is reasonable considering it is high end and the packing is luxurious. I love the packaging of the lipstick, it has that satisfying click when you put the lid on!
I find the pigment to be quite sheer when swatched but when applied it is fine. It feels comfortable on the lips, it is a gorgeous color and i would definitely buy the full size. It is a great everyday colour.

|What I Have Been Watching #2

If you have any suggestions on TV shows or films please comment below!

|Pride & Prejudice (2005)
Period drama is one of my favourite genres to watch. I think i have seen every adaptation of the book! Keira Knightly is a great actress, i love her Britishness!

|Life on Mars
Since i have renewed my Netflix account i have been looking for TV series' to watch and i saw this and decided to re-watch as the series it one of my all time favourites. I love the 1970's it it one of my favourite eras which it what the shows is set in, I love everything about it form the cars to the fashion. I love the fact it is set in Manchester which is where i am from!

|Shameless
Again another Manchester based programme, can you tell i love Manchester yet?! When i first watched this it took me months as there are so many series but im re watching it from the beginning! I must admit i do prefer the first 3/4 series its not the same when the original cast start to leave.

|RuPaul's Drag Race
I had been looking online to watch this for ages as i don't think it is shown in the UK and finally found it on Netflix! I'm obsessed with it, i just can't stop watching! I watch about 4/5 episodes at a time. One thing i can't get over is all the bitchiness between the girls, I find it hilarious!! Also I love RuPaul she is just fabulous!

|Jane Eyre (2011)
As you will have seen from the first film i love period dramas, Again i have watched many adaptations of the book but this is my favourite. Michael Fassbender plays Mr Rochester, he is a great actor and also very easy on the eye!!

Book Review| Three Girls and a Baby: Rachel Schurig

Having just finished college Ginny splits with her boyfriend then she finds out that she is pregnant. Ginny lives with her friends Jen and Annie who help her come to terms with her new life! This book is mainly a book based around friendship. It is a cute book and an easy read, so i would recommend it!
I downloaded this book for free on my kindle, so if you have a kindle i would go and get it!
Otherwise you can get it from Amazon for £5.57 and that is the cheapest i have seen it online.

|Addicted To Blush Tag

The Addicted to blush tag is fairly new i think as i have only seen it on a few blogs up to now. Blush is one of my favourite make up products so i thought i would answer it, i tag anybody who would like to do it!

1. What colour blush suits you the most?
Pink i would say as i have pale skin and it gives a rosy glow to my skin! I do like to use a variety of colours as it is my favourite make up item and just always want to buy more!
2. Pressed/cream/loose blush
Pressed, im not really a fan cream blush as i find it hard to blend and only own about 3 cream blushes, i would love to use them as they give a fresh dewy look but i just can't blend them properly!
3. Favourite shimmery blush
I love shimmery blush because they seem to lift your complexion especially if you have dull/pale skin. I'm not too sure but im gonna say the I Heart Makeup 'Blushing hearts' which is a dupe for the Too Faced Sweetheart blushes.
4. Favourite matte blush
Make Up Revolution £1 blushes they are available in a range of shades and very pigmented.
5. Favourite cream blush
As i said earlier i don't own many but out of the ones i have it would have to be Rimmel 'wake me up instant radiance shimmer touch' It is a cross between a highlighter and blush, The colour is a gorgeous light pink.
6. Favourite drugstore blush
I have far too many but I'm gonna have to say the Make Up Revolution Blushes. They are very pigmented come in a range of shades and only £1!!

7. Favourite high end blush
I don't own any high end blushes so i can't answer that one!

8. Favourite bright blush?
I Heart make up 'i want candy' blush in the shade pink, It is very bright and pigmented and you only need to use a little bit of the product!

9. Biggest blush disappointment/regret
Elf blushes i know they are inexpensive but they just did not work for me. I found them chalky and not pigmented at all!
10. Best blush packaging
I don't own one but i think the Charlotte Tilbury packaging is beautiful! From the blushes i do own Smooch Cosmetics packaging is exactly the same of Nars!
11. What's on your blush wish list
A Nars or Charlotte Tilbury blush.
12. Number 1 holy grail blush?
I don't really have one because i change my blush all the time and i like too many to name!

|Spring Lipsticks

Now that spring has arrived i like to put away that dark berry shades and bring out the bright pinks, purples and corals! In Spring i like to tone down the eye make up and focus the look on the lip colour.

|Bourjois  Orange Punch
As the name suggests this is an orange lipstick! It can be build up to look very bright but i like to use apply it and then pat the colour in as it gives a softer look. It is a glossy finish lipstick.

|NYC 'Air kiss'
A bright fuschia pink, this is very pigmented and creamy. It lasts about 4 hours on the lips which i think it great considering how creamy it is. This is a semi matte lipstick as it does have a slight sheen.

|MAC 'Sunny Seoul'
This is a lighter pink with more of a sheerer pigment than the other lipsticks. This is a cremesheen finish.

|Illamasqua 'Cherub'
Cherub is an orange toned nude i would say, it could be nude on some skin tones but on mine it more on the orange side. The finish on this lipstick is more of sheen as it isn't glossy or matte!

|Seventeen 'Pink Posey'
I love different shades of purples all throughout the year and this is my spring/summer purple as it it bright would can also be applied lighter if you don't want an as in your face colour!

|Make Up Revolution 'Bliss'
This is a coral/peach colour that is a little lighter than the first lipstick. This would be a perfect everyday colour. This again has a sheen finish to it.

|Top 5 Under £5

I can't believe i have never written one of these posts before, i love inexpensive but good quality make up and there are my top 5 under £5!

|Make Up Revolution Palettes| £4
Make up revolution is one of the best brands around and most of there products are under £5 and i don't think any of over £10 so very affordable.

|Essence Lip Liners| £1
My favourite lip liners of all time! I will recommend these to everybody. They are so creamy and smooth but do not smudge, very pigmented and are only £1!!

|W7 Honolulu Bronzer*| £4.95
This is my new my favourite bronzer, It gives right amount of bronzer and does not look muddy on the skin. It can be too dark if you use to much but if you use a light hand it is great for pale skin too!

|NYC Cheek Glow Blusher| £2.99
This is a recent discovery for me, i haven't really tried much from NYC but i love this blush. You get a lot of product and the colour is called Nolita pink but it is a coral with flecks of gold shimmer. The only thing i don't like is that there aren't many shades to purchase!

|Make Up Revolution Lipsticks| £1
I own a lot of these lipsticks as there are so many shades in the range, Everybody will find a shade that they want.

|Spring Beauty Essentials

When it comes to spring i like to have dewy skin and not wear as heavy products everyday to let my skin breathe. I also like to use brighter colours!

|Seventeen Wow Highligher
It's all about dewy skin in S/S for me! I have used this for ages now and it is a great primer, highlighter and can be mixed with foundation for a bright, dewy look!

|Pink blusher
I love pink blush all year round but i think it looks particularly lovely in the spring!

|Self Tan
I like having a little bit of a tan in Spring as it is becoming a little warmer and makes a chance from my very pale skin! My favourite tan is Tan Organics and i have a full review if you would like more information.

|Face SPF
Some of the foundations i use have SPF already in them but when the sun is out more even if it is still cold i like to have extra sun cream. This one is from Eucerin and is Factor 50

|Bright Lipstick
I love bright lipsticks in Spring i have an upcoming post about my favourite spring time lipsticks.

|Perfume
I normally prefer darker, heavier scents but it spring i like to change it to a light and fresh scent and the Nicki Minaj perfume is one of my favourites.

Book Review| Just a Girl Standing in Front Of A Boy: Lucy-Anne Holmes

Back with another book review for you, if you have been reading my previous book reviews you will probably have noticed the type of books that i like to read which is romance and girly books!

Jenny Taylor is a receptionist at her local doctors surgery, her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Matt proposes and she meets Musician Joe King. Then her mum unexpectedly leaves her dad and moves into her tiny flat! She must decide what she really wants for herself.
I like the fact that it touched on Mental Health as i haven't read a book before that it has been included in before.
When i was reading the premise of this story on Amazon and the reviews they said nothing of a twist (sorry if that is a spoiler!) which i wasn't expecting and i don't like crying at books!!
Other than that i would recommend this book as i couldn't put it down!

It can be purchased from only 1p + postage from here.

|Empties #11

This empties post contains a lot of mini products as have been using up the products i got for Christmas but i love minis more than normal size products!!

|Soap & Glory| Clean on Me, Hand Food & The Righteous Butter
Soap and Glory have some great products and i love all 3 of these.

|Loreal Miss Manga Mascara
My favourite mascara of all time! I will 100% be repurchasing this!

|Clinique Lotion
I liked this but wasn't overly impressed as it wasn't anything special or different from my usual and less expensive moisturisers. and don't think it is worth the cost if you bought the full size product.

|Simple Moisturising Wash
This is a great everyday face wash as it is gentle and moisturising. It is gentle enough for sensitive skin and i would buy the full size as it is very affordable.

|Sanctuary Body Scrub
The sanctuary products all smell amazing. I really liked this scrub as it wasn't too abrasive as i know some scrubs can be far too harsh on the skin. I would repurchase the full size of this product!

|Essie 'Bikini so teeny' nail polish
This is my favourite nail polish colour in the world! Essie make amazing nail polishes and i will 100% be repurchasing this!

|Beyonce Heat perfume
I own about 5 different Beyonce perfumes...excessive i know! And i have to say this is probably my least favourite scent out of them all. This is the original and first perfume i think she released.

|Ombre Chelsea Boots

Chelsea boots are my favourite style of shoe to wear and i just had to have these ones, i have never seen any like this before. The boots is very sturdy and feels well made especially considering the price. The boots are from Hidden Fashion which i have purchased from before and love the site especially for shoes, these were only £5 as is everything on the site!!
I normally stick to brown or black shoes as they go with everything but decided to branch out and get this colour, I have had no trouble matching them with outfits either!

You can purchase them here.
