Book Review| Dream A Little Dream : Giovanna Fletcher

I haven't written a book review in a few weeks as i have been to busy to read but i finally had time to sit down and finish this book. It is a new book only being released about a month or so ago.

I have read Giovanna's previous books and loved them so i knew i was going to love this one too!
Here is the blurb:

'Sarah is doing just fine. Sure she's been single for the last five years, and has to spend an uncomfortable amount of time around her ex-boyfriend, his perfect new girlfriend and all their mutual friends. And yes, her job as a PA to one of the most disgusting men in London is mind-numbingly tedious and her career is a constant disappointment to her mother. But it's really okay. She's happy (ish).

So it's not surprising that when Sarah starts dreaming about a handsome stranger, she begins to look forward to falling asleep every night. Reality isn't nearly as exciting. That is until her dream-stranger makes an unexpected real-life appearance, leaving Sarah questioning everything she thought she wanted.

The characters in the book are very likable especially the main character, The story line is easy to follow but not predictable and unlike any other i have read before! 
I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of chick lit as you will thoroughly enjoy it !

|Pippa For Blank Canvas Cosmetics Palette

Blank Canvas Cosmetics is a brand that i have brushes from before and really liked them, they do also make palettes but i had never tried. When they announced this collaboration i had to have it! 
You get 9 shades including 6 eye shadows, highlight, blush and bronzer. All the shades are matte apart from the highlighter which is shimmery. I love the packaging as it's very sleek and girly!
I swatched a few of the shades and the highlighter is amazing! 
It is 35 euro which is around £21 so certainly more expensive than drugstore!

Overall, i recommend this palette as it is perfect for travel and you can do nearly a whole face of make up with it!

|Wet'n'Wild Mega Last Lipstick Collection

Wet'n'Wild lipstick are my favourite drugstore lipsticks ever! I have been buying different shades and wanted to share them as they are amazing! I know it's only 5 but that classes as a collection right?!

The lipsticks are all highly pigmented and creamy with a matte finish. A huge range of shades are available, i bought  different shades to see if they are consistent throughout the collection, which they certainly are!
The packaging is simple which i don't mind as they are inexpensive and it does the job just fine!
I always purchase these from Beauty Joint here, They are around £1.70 which is so inexpensive.

|Salford Quays

Last week i went to one of my favourite places in Manchester which is Salford Quays/Media City, It is full of very photogenic buildings!

 I also popped into the Imperial War Museum north which i haven't been to in years, it is well worth a visit and admission is free!

OOTD| Loafers

Back with another outfit post, i'm really liking doing these at the minute!

 I had to crop my head out as it was a windy day and my fringe had a mind of it's own also this isn't the same coat as last time, i just seem to buy similar clothes!!

I normally always wear shoes or boots with a heel as i prefer them but these shoes are my absolute favourites! I love them so much i have bought a back up pair!

Review| P.S Love Liquid Lipstick

Primark's beauty range P.S Love has been doing it's rounds on blogs ever since it launched and they just keep adding more to the range which i am very pleased about!
This is their liquid lipstick which comes in around 6 shades i think as that is all i could see!
I love the packaging it looks sleek and feels quite heavy not cheap.
The colour is opaque, and lasts on the lips. The finish is kind of a satin as it's not matte but not glossy!

This is an amazing lipstick which is only £2.00 and i will for sure be buying all the colours!

|What I've Been Listening To #2

I haven't written a post about music for a while so i thought i would tell you when i have been listening to recently!

|Years & Years |Shine
This is my favourite song at the moment, i have been listening to it on repeat! I just think it is a beautiful song! Years & Years have also just released their debut album which i have also been loving especially 'Real' which is my favourite song of the year!

                                          

|Stereophonics |C'est La Vie
I have listened to the Stereophonics for a long time and this is their new song and i love it! It so upbeat and summery!

|Birdy |Fire Within
This album has been one of my favourites since it was released a few years ago but i have started to listen to it again. Birdy's voice is just so haunting beautiful, definitely recommend a listen.

Review| John Frieda 'Beach Blonde' Shampoo & Conditioner

Not going to lie it was the packaging that caught my eye first, its just so cute!
 These are the minis as i didn't want to pay £6 each for them in case i didn't like them.
Both the shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling a little dry straight after it was washed but after a few hours it seemed to go, which was a little strange! I'm not sure if it is my hair though as i do have dry/dehydrated hair. Also this does add texture for a 'beachy' look
The scent is mint so it's very refreshing.

I would recommend this and it's lightweight and leaves my hair soft and smooth but will a little texture!

|Charlotte Tilbury Miss Kensington Lipstick

I can't get over how beautiful this is, its to beautiful to use!

It is in the shade 'Miss Kensington' and from the Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson range, so i don't know if this will be permanent or limited edition.
The shade is a a mixture between a nude and a soft pink. It is a matte finish.
The lipstick costs £23.00 which is pricey but it is luxury and the packaging is beautiful!

|What I've Been Watching #4

|The Longest Ride

The latest Nicholas Sparks adaptation and If you like girly films you will know that they are some of the best romantic films and this is no different! Scott Eastwood is gorgeous by the way!! The film is currently in cinemas.

                                               

|The Affair

The Affair is a show that shows the emotional effects of an affair on both people. The show has just been on Sky Atlantic you can also watch it online. The hour long show is split into two parts the first 30 minutes is Noah's perspective and the last 30 minutes is Alison's of the same happenings, i really like this format as you get to view it from both sides.

       

|Man Down 
This is one of my favourite TV  programmes ever! I have been re-watching the first series as the second has just started on Channel 4. It is a comedy series starring Greg Davies and he is one of my favourite comedians so i will watch anything with him in!

|My Mad Fat Diary
Another one of my favourite TV series which has just come back for a new series but it's also it's last so it's bittersweet!! The show was aired on E4 but is still on 4OD.



|A Little Chaos
The first hour of this film is quite slow paced, i normally love these types of films but i found myself getting distracted during this. I expected more as it is directed by Alan Rickman who also stars  and i normally like everything he is in!
