Review| 42nd Street | Theatre Royal Drury Lane

I say this about every show i see but i really mean it that 42nd Street is the best show i have ever seen!!
I was in absolute awe of the tap dancing throughout the show, it is phenomenal.

The follows the production of a Broadway show so kind of like a show within a show.

The cast were all fantastic especially Clare Halse who plays Peggy Sawyer, Stuart Neal who plays Billy Lawlor their tap dancing is absolutely amazing, especially when they dance together but the entire cast are outstanding. As well as the dancing the singing is fantastic. The final scene absolutely blew me away the choreography is just the best thing i have ever seen!

I 1 million percent recommend taking a trip to see this show as you will be blown away by the talent. Its a great feel good show and left me wanting to take up tap dancing!

|Current Favourite Brow Products

Recently i have been trying new brow products out as the ones i was using started were looking to warm toned for my brows. I used to had doing my brows as im not the best but these products have made them a lot easier!

As my brows hadn't been lasting i now use a pencil then powder on top. The product is angled, pigmented and easy to apply. For £6.49 i will be purchasing this again, i like that it has a spoolie on the end

|The Balm Brow Pow Powder
For brow powder i think this is quite pricey as it's £13.50, i personally wouldn't pay that as i got it in the sale for £5.50. I have the shade light brown. The powder is pigmented as does last all day.

|Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil
This pencil is such a bargain at £2.99, i like that is has a spoolie on the end as that's always handy! The consistency is great not waxy at all, not too warm toned and lasts all day. The only downside is you have to sharpen after every use to needs repurchasing regularly.

|Freedom Pro Conceal Kit  (Light)
This kit has made my brows look a lot neater, i use this every day to tidy and also prime my eye lids. I think you can a lot of product, it lasts ages because that is all i use it for and it's only £5.00 so well worth they price.

Book Review| Any Way You Want Me |Lucy Diamond

It's been absolutely ages since i posted a book review as i haven't had time to sit down a read properly in months but im back at it now so expect more reviews soon!
This is the first book by Lucy Diamond that i have read which is surprising because i remember reading reviews on a lot of her books but never actually bought one!

The book is about:
'On paper, Sadie's got it all - the partner, the children, the house. But in real life, that doesn't feel quite enough. Sadie can't help harking back to the time when she was a career woman by day and a party animal by night. And what happened to feeling like a sex kitten, anyway? The only sleepless nights she's getting now are due to the baby. Maybe a little reinvention is the answer . . .

Sadie can't resist creating a fictitious online identity for herself as a hot TV producer. It's only a bit of harmless fun . . . until truth and fantasy become dangerously tangled. It isn't long before she's wondering if the exciting alter ego she has dreamed up really is the kind of person she wants to be after all . . .'
I liked the book but it is not unlike a lot of other books i have read, which is not necessarily a bad thing! The story is easy to follow and not complex at all. I did like the characters, i think you can connect with them and get a feel for their personalities. The book would be a perfect holiday read!

Available to purchase here.

Review| The Commitments | Palace Theatre | Manchester

The Commitments is my favourite film of all time, i really wanted to see it in the west end but never got round to it so when the tour was announced i had to go! Anyone who knows me know how much i love anything Irish!

Based on the 1991 film, Set In Dublin it centres around Jimmy Rabbitte who tries to turn a bunch of amateur musicians into the best soul band Dublin has ever produced. There are a number of songs in the show including 'Mustang Sally', 'Try A Little Tenderness', 'In The Midnight Hour' and many more soul classics.
The whole cast have amazing voice especially Brian Gilligan who play Deco!

I would 100% recommend that you go and see it because it feel good and has everyone up on their feet!

The show only has a week left in Manchester then, there are only 5 venues left on the tour so i would definitely go and see it if you are nearby.
Tour dates here.
