|March Favourites

I have a few new products in this months favourites as i have had quite few new products to try. I think this will be my last favourites for a few months as it can be difficult not to included the same products if you do use them constantly like me and i don't want to bore any of you reading by including products in multiple blog posts!

|Natural Collection Blush
This has been my go to blush for the whole month as it just matches every look and gives a flushed look to the cheeks! The shade is in Sweet Cheeks.

|MUA Hall Of Fame Palette
Love this palette! All the shades are very wearable and can be used for day or night, just a great palette and for only £4!

|Seventeen Lipliner
I use a lip liner all the time with my lipsticks as i prefer how it looks on the with more precise edges and this one was in my collection that i hadn't used for a while. It matches most of my lipsticks but i don't think Seventeen make these anymore which is very annoying!

|Clinique High Impact mascara
Been using this all month and it's great! I have a full review on this so will link it here.

|W7 brushes*
I received these recently and have not stopped using them since. The brushes i have here are the fan, bronzer and eye shadow brushes. I have a full review already up on these.

Review| Clinique High Impact Mascara

Clinique is a brand i have only tried a few products from and i received this free in a magazine quite a few months ago but only started using this now as my other mascara has run out.
I have been really enjoying using this mascara as it makes your lashes look thick, wispy and like you have a lot of them which i love as i have small lashes! The mascara didn't flake or smudge on my lower lashes which is one of the things that annoys me the most about some mascaras!
The full size of this mascara £17.50 and it is definitely worth it.

|W7 Brush Roll*

W7 very kindly sent me a set of make up brushes and the Honolulu bronzer which can i just say has become the best bronzer i have ever used! An a review on that will be up soon. This is the first time i have tried any brushes from W7 and i have to say that i am very impressed. The whole brush roll costs £12.95 from the W7 website.

You get 12 brushes which are:
angled blush
Powder
3 eye shadow brushes
eye liner
angled eyeliner
lip brush
spoolie
fan brush
sponge applicator
eyebrow/lash brush

The handles do feel a tad plastic like but that doesn't make a difference, i am very happy with quality of the brush fibres they are very soft and do not shed. I have washed them and they wash perfectly.I did find that the angled eyeliner brush bristles were very stiff and scratchy, so i would probably not use that one. My favourite brushes are the fan, bronzer and eye shadow brushes, i have been using them everyday since i got this.
The brush roll is very handy for travel.
Overall, i think that this is a great set of brushes and recommend them, this would be perfect for beginners in make up.

|The 5 Product Face

The 5 product face was hard for me to choose as i do tend to use a lot of unnecessary products but i did manage to finally narrow it down to these products! These are the ones i use nearly everyday and are essentials!

|Foundation| Rimmel Match Perfection
I swap between 3 different Rimmel foundations for everyday wear as i love them but this is the one i have been steering towards recently.

|Mascara| Clinique High Impact Mascara
Mascara is one product i cannot live without as i look like a mole without as my eyelashes are short and quite light in colour!! I would normally pick my Miss Manga because it is my favourite mascara ever but i have run out, I'm now using the Clinique High Impact Mascara as i really like it. I will have a full review up on this soon.

|Powder| Collection
I have been using powder on my t-zone as it has started to get become on oily mess but my cheeks have dry which is bizarre as i have never had this problem before. This one keeps the oil at bay, lasts all day and is only £2!

|Blush| Natural Collection
I always have to wear blush as i feel it brightens up my dull skin and adds a little colour. This shade is called Sweet Cheeks and is only £1.99.

|Lipstick| Mac Please Me
My go to lipstick! Goes with any make up look. It is matte and long lasting.

|Hair Piece Challenge with Annabelle's Wigs*

I recently took part in the #hairpiecechallenge by Annabelle's wigs where i have to make 3 hair styles with my 3/4 wig. I was matched to the Zara hair piece* available here for £31.99. The hair is not real human hair but it is still so soft and smooth. The wig already has lose curls,i love the length it reaches to my waist, It is very easy to put in and feels very secure, i have worn it for a full day, it was very comfortable and did not move at all.

This is what the hair piece looks like before when you receive it and i think it is absolutely beautiful, I'm in love! I can't thank Annabelles wigs enough for kindly sending my this!

The first style is a fishtail, i love fishtail plaits. I always think they look amazing with thick hair which i don't have naturally so i really loved this! I feel like Elsa from Frozen with this style!!

The second style is loose curls with a head band, I just backcombed my hair over the hair piece and placed this on top of where the wig is clipped in to disguise it even more and hair sprayed it in place.

Third and final hair style is a backcombed ponytail. I love this look it feels very 60's inspired which is my favourite era! I back combed my own hair own the top of the wig then placed it into a low pony tail.

|W7 Caribbean Dream Palette

If you read my blog you will know i love W7 products but can never find them in store only online until i found this in Pound world! I never find any make up bargains in the pound stores like everybody else seems to pick up but this is the first! The palette is from the celebrity secrets range and is called 'Caribbean dream'.

The shadows are pigmented but not overly pigmented so would be great for beginners if you are not used to wearing a smokey eye or darker shadows. The darker shades do need building up on the eye. the palette contains 1 matte and 3 shimmery shadows. They did last all day without fading or creasing.
I love the W7 In The Buff palette and the shadows are so pigmented in that but these ones just aren't the same, so if you are looking for very pigmented shadows i wouldn't bother with this palette.
Overall, i personally didn't really like this palette as it is not pigmented enough for me but as i have said it would be great for beginners.

Review| Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo & Conditioner

I love trying new hair products and i had been eyeing these up every time i went shopping but never bought them until now! They are the Garnier ultimate blends 'The colour illuminator' shampoo and conditioner. Since i have recently dyed my hair i wanted to use products to prolong the colour. The scent of this is cranberry and argan oil, it smells amazing and is long lasting i can still smell it on second day hair. It left my hair shiny and soft, I highly recommend it!

These are the larger size bottles and retail for £3.89 but you can always find them on offer some where as they are a fairly new release.

Top 5| W7 Make up

W7 is a brand i have become a big fan of over the past year, It is inexpensive but the products are amazing quality. You can purchase W7 make up from their website, Fragrance Direct and Xtras.

|Lashtastic Mascara*
I use this mascara for my top lashes and and it lengthens them perfectly. it did smudge on my bottom lashes so i don't use it for them but it is still and amazing mascara. I have a full review which i will link.

|In the buff palette
One of my favourite palettes! This is a naked 2 palette dupe and it is great! All the shadows are pigmented and long lasting.

|The Honey Queen Blusher
I love the boxed products from W7, i own quite a few and i especially love the packaging! This blush is perfect for a bronzey look as it has gold, orange and coral tones with a little shimmer.

|Black Liquid Eyeliner*
I find liquid eyeliners don't really last and fade within a few hours but this last all day without fading and flaking off! It is a pigmented and easy to use liner and i highly recommend it.

|Blusher*
This is in the shade daddy's girl and it is a dark, dusky pink which would look great on any skin tone. You get a lot of product for the price with this.

|Films I Have Been Watching...

I have been watching a lot of films lately and watch to share with you the ones i enjoyed, As you will probably see i have a favourite type of film with is romantic!

|Like Crazy
I came across this film online and have never heard it but it sounded like the type of film i watch and i really enjoyed it! It is about a long distance couple who meet in LA whilst in college but when her visa runs out she has to return to London. Riddled with visa troubles they have to overcome the long distance problems to make their relationship work.

|Fifty Shades of Grey
The film everybody is talking about! Love it or hate it you can't get any from it! I personally really liked it. I loved the soundtrack and who can forget Jamie Dornan...wow!!

|Once
This film is set in Dublin my favourite place in the world so i was bound to love it! It is about an unnamed guy and girl who meet whilst he is busking and they are both struggling musicians. I don't really want to say anymore because i will reveal the whole story line if you haven't seen it!
The soundtrack is fantastic and it won an Academy award and received a Grammy nomination.

|About Time
Tim finds out a family secret that all the men in the family can time travel who tries to change the past to improve his future. Domhall Gleeson is one of my favourite actors so i will watch anything with him in!
This film has a similar story line as The Time Travelers Wife if you have watched that but i still loved it!

Review| Nice & Easy Permanent Hair Colour (Natural Baby Blonde)

This is something new on my blog i have never reviewed a product like this before but since i was dying my hair and have never used this colour i thought i might as well review it! The shade is  9.5A Natural Baby Blonde and it is a permanent colour. The colours states that this is only suitable for light to dark blonde hair as it will not take to anything darker than that.

I had been growing my hair dye out and after a good few months i couldn't handle it anymore! My natural hair colour wasn't too much darker that the colour i had on before which had now grown out to the ends but i wanted it to be more blended so i chose this shade.  When i dyed it the ends stayed virtually the same colour which i knew would happen as it was similar but my roots when a little lighter with kind of a ginger tone which i expected as my natural hair does have a red tint!
I know the colour differs on everybody's hair and will never look the same on anybody's especially if you are dying onto natural hair.

Overall, I really liked how this colour turned out on my hair, it wasn't a drastic change but i didn't want that, It is very easy to use and will use this next time my hair needs dying as i really love the colour.

Review| Botanics Hand Cream*

Botanics is a range that i have tried products from and when Product testing UK sent me The hand cream from the brand i was more than happy try it! I love hand creams and have an array of different ones.
I always have dry hands and this is for normal/dry skin and it moisturises them. The scent is fresh and clean. It absorbs into your hands straight away which i like and doesn't leave you with tacky hands or have to wait for them to dry.
It is available to here for £2.89, which is affordable and It is definitely worth it.

Book Review| Johnny Be Good: Paige Toon

Back with another book review for you today, book reviews are some of my favourite posts to write. After reading this Paige Toon had become one of my favourite authors, I love her writing style. This is the first in a 3 series of books containing these characters and i can't wait to read the second!
Meg is a PA and is offered a job in LA with one of the world's biggest rock stars Johnny Jefferson. When she arrives in LA she is thrown into the glamorous lifestyle. Christian is in town to write his celebrity friends biography and grows close to Meg but will she be able resist Johnny?!
These types of narratives are my favourite to read and i finished the book in 2 days, i just could not put it down!! One of the best books i have read recently and cannot recommend it enough!

You can purchase from Amazon.
