Review| LA Girl Pro Foundation

This foundation has been all over YouTube especially on American beauty channels as you can't get this in the UK, i ordered mine from Beauty Joint.
We all know how popular the LA Girl Pro Concealer is and i love that so was excited to try a foundation by the brand. The foundation is an illuminating foundation.
The consistency is quite thick, thicker than i thought it would be for an illuminating foundation. It is high coverage but not too heavy on the skin.

The foundation lasted around 6 hours on my skin before i needed to powder which is pretty good going for an illuminating foundation. I liked the packaging it i think it makes it look more expensive than it is! At £6.29 it is well worth the money.

I have the shade 'Fair' which is the lightest but they do have a white which you can mix in, as this is quite dark for a fair shade but they do have a great darker shade range.

I would highly recommend this foundation as i think it would be great for dry skin but if you have oily skin but you just might need to powder a little more often!
Available here.

Review| Wet'n'Wild Photo Focus Foundation

After watching lots of great reviews on this foundation i had to pick it up, I ordered it from Beauty Joint as we don't have Wet'n'Wild in the UK. It was $5.99 which is £4.64 so a real bargain for an amazing foundation!

The foundation is full coverage which is my preference, it gives kind of semi matte finish. I have the shade Shell Ivory which i think is the second lightest shade. It lasted amazingly well for over 10 hours whilst i was at work and still looked good. I have been reaching for this over my MAC Studio Fix which is my go to foundation and its a fraction of the price.

It did not dry my skin out or start to break up my contour which had been happening recently. I did have to powder but that is not an issue at all because i always powder throughout the day.
The foundation doesn't have a pump but i don't mind that as i found this easier to dot on my face and makes less mess.

Overall, i think this foundation is amazing, it lasts all day, does not oxidize and is very inexpensive!

Review| Loreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation

Loreal have released a new 'Total Cover' range that includes a foundation, concealer palette. The products are full coverage and matte, i have only tried the foundation but i do want to get the concealer palette!

I chose the shade 10 Porcelain as that is what shade i always buy Loreal foundation in and it is a perfect match for my skin tone, it is the lightest available from 6 shades which isn't the best shade range but they could bring out more.

The consistency is think but it is easily blendable, it lasted a 11 hour work day for me and im under hot, bright lights so i think its great! It covered blemishes but i still did use concealer.
I would highly recommend this if you want a drugstore full coverage foundation, it's currently on offer for £7.99 in Superdrug and is normally £9.99.

You can purchase here.

Review| Miss Sporty 'So Matte Perfect Stay' Foundation

This is the first product i have tried from Miss Sporty and i have to say that i was disappointed with it!
I tried the 'So Matte Perfect Stay Foundation' which claims to lasts up to 14 hours, which i wasn't expecting and it didn't even last 6 hours on my skin which is normal/combination at the moment. It made my t-zone extremely oily, something that never happens especially wearing a matte foundation!

I Picked the shade Ivory 1 which is the lightest shade and it was still dark so not a great colour range for paler people. It looks light in the swatch but do oxidize a little. For only £3.49 it is very inexpensive and i will try it again with different primers and powders to see it if goes any better!

Review| Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation

This Maybelline foundation caught my eye in Asda as i had never seen it before and was only £4 which is very cheap for a foundation.
It says that is is for normal to oily skin as it is matte i have combination skin at the moment.
This shade Ivory is the lightest one available and it is too dark and very yellow toned but with time spent on blending i can make it work!

I like that it is in a squeezy tube rather than a bottle as you can control the product a bit easier, i also like how simple the packaging is.

It lasted well through out the day and didn't flake which some matte ones do on my skin so overall i really like this foundation i think its a great price and perfect for everyday wear!

Review| Too Faced 'Born This Way' Foundation

Too Faced 'Born This Foundation' is a product that i had been wanting to try for ages but i waited to purchase it from America when i visited rather than here as it was cheaper!
I have the shade porcelain which is yellow toned and a little too dark but as it is the lightest shade available i made it work!

The foundation costs £29.00 which is on the expensive side as it is more expensive than Mac but i do think it's worth it! It lasts such a long time, i applied it at 8am and i took it off at 8pm and it still looked fine! I have normal to combination skin at the moment.
It states that it is a medium to full coverage but i think it's more on the full coverage side. The finish i woudl say is matte but not overly matte!

Overall, i absolutely love this foundation, it is up there with my favourite Mac Studio Fix! I will be definitely be repurchasing and it is well worth the money!

|Loreal Infallible Sculpt Range

These products have been doing the rounds on US beauty videos for a little while and i've seen a lot of good reviews so wanted to try them, when they finally arrived here!
This bundle that i have is available from Superdrug for £15.99 which i think is amazing value for all 3 products.
|Infallible Sculpt Foundation (Light)
This is a light coverage foundation, that is available in only 2 shades Light/medium and medium/dark which is not brilliant. The coverage is light which i don't normally go for but it is buildable. I have the light/medium which is to dark for my skin but if i really blend it out i can make it work!

|Infallible Sculpt Contour Palette (Light)
Cream to powder is the formula of this contour palette, it is very creamy but i'm not too sure if i like this. I found when i blended it out it just disappeared into my skin and i had to really build it up just to see it even a little. I also found that did slide around in my face even when set it a powder contour.

|Blush Sculpt (Nude Beige)
You get 3 different shades in this blush a highlight, light bronze, dark bronze. This is so pigmented you only need the tiniest amount of product! It is very easy to blend out and you can use all the colours together or just one!

Overall, i'm not too sure about the contour palette and the foundation i will have to try them some more but the blush is amazing!

|Top 2 swatches are the contour palette and the rest the blushes.

Review| Loreal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation

This is a foundation that had been on my list to get from New York and i managed to find it eventually as it was sold out in most places! I did have to get a shade darker as i couldn't leave it!!
This was $17.95 i think which is around £12.50 so on the higher end of the drugstore!
The colour 'W2' is too warm toned for my skin as i have a cool/pink toned skin tone but i can wear it when i occasionally wear fake tan which i don't mind as i just wanted to try the foundation!

As the name would suggest the finish is a luminous one and it gives a lovely glow to the skin! It lasted around 6/7 hours which i think it pretty good of a non matte foundation. It blends out easily, I like applying this with my Real Techniques sponge.

Overall, i really like this foundation and i hope it will be available in the U.K soon!

Review| Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Foundation a well hyped up product on in the beauty world and something i wanted to try since it launched, i have been using it so thought i would share my thoughts!

I must admit i wasn't as pleased with this as i thought i would be, it states that the foundation is full coverage but i don't think it is, i think it's more medium coverage. I have the shade 2.

The finish is semi matte but it made my face look shiny around my t-zone which just looked oily and not glowing which wasn't great as i don't even have oily skin! It lasted on my skin for around 6/7 hours and there was a bit of fading around my chin throughout the day.

This retails for £29.50 and to be honest i don't think it is worth it, Mac Studio fix fluid is 100 x better for £21 and i will keep on repurchasing that.

Overall, i have mixed views on this foundation, i did not live up to my expectations but i will use it again to see if i can get it to work.

There is as 2nd Birthday GIVEAWAY coming up on my blog soon so keep an eye out!!

Review| MAC Collection

I have a small Mac Collection but i really love all the products so i had to share them!
Studio Fix Fluid is my favourite foundation of all time as you can count on it if you need a long lasting, flawless base. As you can see from the lipsticks i kind of buy similar colours, something which i didn't realize until i wrote this post!
Highlighters are one of my favourite make up products and these two are the best ones i have ever used! The mascara is only a sample but ill for sure be buying the full size as i love it!

Lipsticks:
|Creme Cup
|Please Me
|Sunny Seoul
|Speed Dial

|Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
|False Lash Extreme Black mascara (Sample)

|Soft & Gentle Highlighter
|Lightscapade Highlighter

Review| L'oreal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation

This foundation has been well hyped in the Youtube and blogging world with mixed reviews so i had to give it a go!

I was a little dubious about how this would be on my skin as i have dry patches but up to now it has been fine and has not clung to any patches. It lasted around 8/9 hours on my skin before it started to fade but that is long enough for me to be happy with.
The foundation doesn't contain SPF so would be great for flash photography.

I choose the shade 10 Porcelain and was very impressed with the shade range as this is a perfect match, There are 6 shades in the range so maybe not so great for the darker skinned ladies. I like the packaging it simple but sleek and compact, i have never had a foundation in a tube before i prefer it as there is less product wasted!

Overall, i think that this is a great foundation and do recommend it.

|The 5 Product Face

The 5 product face was hard for me to choose as i do tend to use a lot of unnecessary products but i did manage to finally narrow it down to these products! These are the ones i use nearly everyday and are essentials!

|Foundation| Rimmel Match Perfection
I swap between 3 different Rimmel foundations for everyday wear as i love them but this is the one i have been steering towards recently.

|Mascara| Clinique High Impact Mascara
Mascara is one product i cannot live without as i look like a mole without as my eyelashes are short and quite light in colour!! I would normally pick my Miss Manga because it is my favourite mascara ever but i have run out, I'm now using the Clinique High Impact Mascara as i really like it. I will have a full review up on this soon.

|Powder| Collection
I have been using powder on my t-zone as it has started to get become on oily mess but my cheeks have dry which is bizarre as i have never had this problem before. This one keeps the oil at bay, lasts all day and is only £2!

|Blush| Natural Collection
I always have to wear blush as i feel it brightens up my dull skin and adds a little colour. This shade is called Sweet Cheeks and is only £1.99.

|Lipstick| Mac Please Me
My go to lipstick! Goes with any make up look. It is matte and long lasting.

Review| Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation

I had never tried as foundation from Collection but as it was on offer i thought i would give it a try! I chose the foundation in the the shade Porcelain as it was the lightest in the range and  is still a little too dark but i can work with it. It does last all day without going patchy or anything like that. It is a medium coverage but easily build-able. It does leave my face feeling a little tacky to the touch but it does eventually set. The price is £5.99.

Overall, I would recommend this foundation as it is long lasting and affordable but it does not top my beloved Rimmel foundations!

Top 5| Rimmel products

I love Rimmel so I thought I would show you my top 5 products! These aren't in a particular order!

1. Match perfection foundation| £6.99
I have used this for ages now and it's my favourite foundation. It is medium coverage but buildable. I have a full review here.

2. Wake me up concealer| £5.49
This is the concealer is my favourite for under the eyes, I do find it a bit yellow for my skin tone but it looks ok blended out! It does brighten the under eye area and I fine it stays all day when set with powder.

3. Wake me up foundation| £8.99
I haven't been using this foundation for long but I really like it! I much prefer a dewy base than a matte one so this is perfect.

4. Eyeshadow quads| £5.49
I have 3 of these now and all of them are great. The eyeshadows are pigmented and easy to blend. These would be perfect for travel as they small and can create various looks. I will have a full review on these up soon!

5. Kate lipstick in 101| £5.49
My favourite rimmel lipstick! It is a matte formula, so it lasts for quite a while. I have a few rimmel lipsticks and really like all the formulas.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation:

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation:
I know that there has been like a million reviews on this foundation but i love it so i wanted to review it too! One of the best things about this foundation i think it the shade range as i have trouble finding a pale enough foundation for my complexion but the light porcelain shade is perfect it is like my exact skin colour and because of that it gives a flawless look! I would say that it is a medium but build able coverage.the finish of the foundation is kind of silky. The scent of this is kind of a fresh/floral one i think! I would recommend this foundation to everybody who likes a silky/glowy finish for their foundation!
