|Current Beauty Favourites

Recently i have been using some new products to me aswell as some favourites and these are:

|Too Faced 'Born This Way' Foundation
I love this foundation so much! It is very full coverage and lasts all day just the type i look for. I have a full review on this foundation.

|False Eyelashes
I have been wearing false eyelashes a lot lately from different brands but i do love these Eylure ones from the enchanted range. I also love the Cherry Blossom #01 and Tanya Burr 'Bambi Eyes' lashes.

|Kat Von D Concealer
When i first tried this concealer i wasn't impressed with it but after trying it again i love it! It's very full coverage and lasts all day.

|B. Beauty Contour Brush
I recently posted about my favourite face brushes and i featured this one. I love the shape of this brush it makes contouring easy and it's the perfect size! Read my brushes post here

|Loreal Mega Volume Hippie Mascara
The Loreal Miss Manga mascara is one of my favourite so when this was launched i had to try it! I love it, the mascara is quite clumpy but i kind of like that look as i seems to add volume to my lashes.

|The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
I have been using this for a while on blemishes and it actually does do something! It seems to take the redness down in about a day!

Charming Cheshire | Arley Hall

Arley hall is i think my new favourite place!  Located in Northwich, Cheshire. It's so beautiful and peaceful, within the grounds there are walled gardens and a chapel both of which are sunning, there is also a nature trail with hidden art work and sculptures in the gardens.

There is a cafe which serves cold food and cakes, I would highly recommend a visit as i had a great day and will be going back soon!

For more information visit here.

|Favourite Face Brushes

This is part 1 of 2 posts on my faces brushes starting with face brushes. I use a range of brushes mostly from the drugstore as i can't justify spending too much on brushes when drugstore ones are just as good if not better than expensive ones!

Brushes clockwise|

|Real Techniques Contour Brush
I use this brush for highlighting, i find its the perfect size and picks up just enough product.

This brush is what i use for foundation, a fairly new purchase for me but i love it, it blends out foundation and also concealer seamlessly.

|Seventeen Cheek Brush
This brush is the least expensive of these brushes at £2.99, but it is one of my most used. It's a great all rounder can be used for foundation, bronzer, blush even highlighter!

|B. Finishing Brush
My powder brush and also my blending brush as it's light and blends my cheeks products out beautifully!

   |Sephora Pro Flawless Airbrush
Another foundation brush! I love this one for foundation and it does what the name says as it does give a flawless finish. It works amazingly at blending out concealer too especially under the eyes! This is my favourite foundation brush in my collection!

|Real Techniques Sponge
I have gone through about 3 of these sponges, i don't use them all the time i tend to go through phases of either a brush or sponge

I had been looking for a brush like this since i first saw the Nars one and i found this in Superdrug for £8.99 so a fraction of the Nars brush.

This brush was in a gift set that i got given at Christmas time and have been using it ever since. This could be used as a contour/bronzing brush, it is very similar to the Seventeen cheek brush.

I never really used to bronze i just blended my contour out but since i bought this brush i have been liking bronzing and this brush is perfect, it's also angled which i prefer.

Review| Home Sweet Home Northern Quarter

Trying different restaurants is something i like to try and do on a regular basis as there are so many amazing, little independent places and Home Sweet Home is one of them!
Located in the Northern Quarter, Manchester, It's quite a small cozy place with a few tables outside.
I love the vibe in there it's relaxed and the food is lovely. They also have an amazing selection of cakes. The prices are inexpensive, I would highly recommend a visit and i will definitely be taking a trip back very soon!

Check it out here.

OOTD| Flares

This flared jumpsuit is the first trousers that aren't skinny that i have worn in years!!
I love this jumpsuit because of the print it has quite a low keyhole in the front and was only £11 in the sale!
I forgot to get a close up of the sandals but it it the pom pom lace up copy ones from Primark, im sure you've seen them because they were all over Instagram recently!
The cardigan is from the H&M Cochella range and is in a kimono kind of style.

Review| Miss Sporty 'So Matte Perfect Stay' Foundation

This is the first product i have tried from Miss Sporty and i have to say that i was disappointed with it!
I tried the 'So Matte Perfect Stay Foundation' which claims to lasts up to 14 hours, which i wasn't expecting and it didn't even last 6 hours on my skin which is normal/combination at the moment. It made my t-zone extremely oily, something that never happens especially wearing a matte foundation!

I Picked the shade Ivory 1 which is the lightest shade and it was still dark so not a great colour range for paler people. It looks light in the swatch but do oxidize a little. For only £3.49 it is very inexpensive and i will try it again with different primers and powders to see it if goes any better!

Book Review| One Hot Summer |Kat French

There hasn't been a book review on my blog for quite a few months now as i just haven't had much time to read any books! I've just been on holiday so i've had time to read a few books and this was one of the books i took with me!

'Being married to a celebrity isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when that celebrity has a very public affair with his co-star…
Alice McBride is determined that the one thing she won't lose in her marriage breakup is Borne Manor, her beloved home, but she gets more than she bargained for when she rents it out for the summer and a sexy cowboy comes to stay.
Country music star Robinson Duff has had his own share of heartbreak and needs somewhere quiet to hide out for the summer. Neither Alice nor Robinson are in any position for romance; the timing is terrible and they're both rebounding like out of control frisbees.

Can a holiday romance help mend their broken hearts. Or will it just make things even worse when the long hot summer comes to its inevitable end?'

I really enjoyed this book it was an easy to follow, feel good read perfect for a holiday read. I have read all off Kat French's previous books and loved them all this one is no different!
The two mains characters are very likable as are the bunch of secondary characters. There are many layers to the story which keeps it interesting.

Overall, i cannot recommend this book enough i loved it!

Available here.
