|Music Of The Month

I have a different type of post today not on anything beauty or fashion related as you might have guessed from the title! I thought I would share with you my favourite music of the month because I love music just as much as make up! I'm not sure if this is going to be every month but I will see! Also I love reading posts like this and finding new artists to listen too!

Sam Smith| In The Lonely Hour
Just putting it out there but I think that this is my favourite album of the year! I love every single song!

George Ezra| Wanted On Voyage
I think I may be a little bit obsessed with this guy! His voice is amazing and I just love the whole album!

Hozier|
I have been loving Hozier's music in general for few months now and can't wait for his album to be out next month as I have listened to his current singles 100's of times now!!

One Republic|
I have listened to One Republic for years and finally got to seem them live last year! But I have been listening to their newest album a lot recently and my favourite songs are Life in colour and burning bridges.

|August Favourites

I have been trying to create different make up looks this month so I have some favourites that I haven't included before!

|Mac Please Me lipstick
I got this lipstick last year I think and hadn't  really used it that often, but this month it is the lipstick I have been mostly using and it is becoming on of my favourites! It's a matte formula but non drying.

|Rimmel Brow This Way

This is the first tinted brow gel is the first one I have used and I really like it! It is new and on offer for £2.99 in boots at the moment! It isn't an extremely pigmented gel which I am glad about because I think that would be difficult to use.

|MUA Ever After Matte Palette
I have been loving matte eyes this month and these colours are just what I like to use! This palette hasn't really been used that much but I will be using it more now!

|Essence Lipglosses

I won't go on to much about these because I already have raved about them but I have a full review here! The ones shown are dazzle glow and nude kiss.

|Essence Lip liners
These lip liners  are the best lip liners I have ever used, they are extremely creamy and soft. They are with so much more than the 99p price tag!

|Collection eye shadow in Ice Queen

This is the shadow I have been using to highlight my browbone on inner corner. It lasts all day and really brightens up the eye.

Review| Rimmel brow this way

I first saw this product in a blogpost and had been looking for it ever since but I finally found it! This is the first tinted brow gel I have used and I really like it. I have the shade medium blonde which I think is the lightest shade I could only see this one and a dark brown.
It isn't extremely pigmented which I like as I think it would be hard to work with if it was. It looks great on its own or on top of powder or pencil and I have tried both ways.
I really like this product and have been using it everyday since I bought it but the only thing I would change is the size of the wand because it is a tiny bit too big, I would like it a little smaller!

Review| Nivea daily essentials 2in1 cleanser & toner

This is the Nivea daily essentials 2in1 cleanser and toner, I bought this quite a while ago and just put it in the drawer and forgot about it! I normally don't try anything new with my skincare if my current routine works but I thought I would give it ago. It states that it removes make up and I tried it for that but I don't find it much good, it didn't really remove any makeup especially eye makeup but It did make my face feel very soft. It has a very light scent nothing to imposing. This costs £3.59 when it isn't on offer.

I would recommend it for just a cleanser as I liked the scent and my face felt soft and smooth, but it takes a lot of time to remove make up with it!

Top 5| Rimmel products

I love Rimmel so I thought I would show you my top 5 products! These aren't in a particular order!

1. Match perfection foundation| £6.99
I have used this for ages now and it's my favourite foundation. It is medium coverage but buildable. I have a full review here.

2. Wake me up concealer| £5.49
This is the concealer is my favourite for under the eyes, I do find it a bit yellow for my skin tone but it looks ok blended out! It does brighten the under eye area and I fine it stays all day when set with powder.

3. Wake me up foundation| £8.99
I haven't been using this foundation for long but I really like it! I much prefer a dewy base than a matte one so this is perfect.

4. Eyeshadow quads| £5.49
I have 3 of these now and all of them are great. The eyeshadows are pigmented and easy to blend. These would be perfect for travel as they small and can create various looks. I will have a full review on these up soon!

5. Kate lipstick in 101| £5.49
My favourite rimmel lipstick! It is a matte formula, so it lasts for quite a while. I have a few rimmel lipsticks and really like all the formulas.

|My current favourite handbag

Primark have really upped their game in the handbag department this year! I seem to want like 98% of them! The quality has improved a lot and they look more expensive than they actually are!
I got this for £10 and I would have paid a lot more. I think that if their is any kind of texture on a bag it automatically makes it not look cheap! I don't own any grey bags to I had to get this! It's a perfect size for everyday as you can see it does fit quite a lot in and there was still room. I recommend that you have a look in Primark if you need a bag as they seem to have a style for everyone!
I think this is great for Autumn/winter and as a transitional bag! The material is soft but the bag is still sturdy.

|Empties #6

Argan oil shampoo & conditioner:
I love these and use them nearly everytime I wash my hair, it smells good and they are only £1 each!!

Nspa toning mist:
I included this in my skincare routine and I love it! I use it twice a day and this has lasted me about 2 months. I have already repurchased! My skincare routine blogpost.

Victoria's Secret pure seduction spray:
My favourite Victoria's Secret scent! I don't buy it often but when I do this is one I will always buy!

Dove dry shampoo:
This is about my third or fourth bottle of this and it is one of my favourite dry shampoos! I have a review here.

Soap and glory hand food:
I will always repurchase this hand cream as I love the smell and it is very moisturing!

Rimmel wake me up and collection lasting perfection concealers:
These are my favourite concealers and I have already repurchased them both!

Impulse spray in tease:
I've always loved impulse sprays and this is my favourite scent. I love to just have one of these in my bag because they are small and don't take up too much room!

Lee Stafford heat spray:
I have rarely been using heat on my hair so i have had this for ages and needed to use it up! I'm not sure I would repurchase as I didn't find it did anything special!

Loreal elnett hairspray:
This post seems to be full of my favourite products, I have used this hairspray for years and so will be buying it again and this big bottle lasts me months because I don't use it often!

Review| Coconut oil

I have been reading a lot of blog posts on  Coconut oil and it's various uses, I've always loved the smell of coconut so thought I would give it a try! I used this as on overnight mask on my hair and it left my hair feeling so soft. It can also be used as a serum and as a body oil which I did and it is great for dry skin because it is very oily as you would expect! This would look amazing if you have a tan as it makes your skin very glowy. The only downside is that it does take quite a while to sink  to the skin. I got this from superdrug and it was on offer for £1.49 but is only normally £2.49. This has become my favourite go to oil/moisturiser and have already repurchased another one!

|Lush Haul

A short little post for you today! I call this a Lush haul but I didn't actually buy then they were a present from my grandparents but I still wanted to write a post about them! I have used a couple of these but they all smell amazing!

Granny takes a dip: smells amazing, I have used this one and the scent is very relaxing and I love the multi colour ballistics!

French kiss: this bubble bar has lavender in it and I love lavender but I found this too overpowering, so I probably won't get this one again!

Brightside: this one is big enough to use 2 or 3 times depending in how many bubbles you want!

Amandopondo: again this is a bubble bar  as most of the other because I do generally prefer bubble bars to ballistics it just depends on my mood!

Review| Essence Lipglosses

I have already review as few products for essence but I had to do a post just on these lip glosses as I think they are amazing!!  I bought one to start off with but had to go back for more as I loved it so much. They last about 3 hours on me before having to re apply, which is absolutely amazing for a lipgloss!
In order they are:
Nude kiss
Rising star
Dazzle glow
Pure chic

The swatches are In order of the picture and I don't swatch the clear because well ...it's clear!!!

They are perfect to wear alone or over a lipstick. I think I may have to have a trip to another store because they don't have many more lipgloss shades to choose from!

You beauty discovery box| August edition

This box was the summer essentials theme, I wasn't too interested  with the products this month but I chose
• Louise Galvin weekly treatment hair mask
• Eucerin factor 50 sun cream for the face
And the samples included was jimmy choo and jimmy choo man fragrances which both smell very nice! A nail file cube and and anti wrinkle cream. I also like the little box they items arrive in it very handy to store things in!

This beauty box is still my favourite and I'm looking forward to choosing next months products!

|How I Wash My Make Up Brushes

I know everybody has their own way to wash their but i just wanted to show you the way i wash mine! Baby shampoo used to be the only thing i washed my brushes with but i recently tried Dr Bronner's magic soap in lavender. The brushes are so much easier and quicker to clean with this soap. After using this i found that my brushes are softer.
I thought i would only have to use this for my small brushes but it works perfectly fine with big brushes too.
This is the sample size as I received it in a beauty box but when I finish this I will be definitely be buying the full size.

Review| Bleach London hair crayon

I have been looking at the Bleach products ever since they were launched but could never commit to actually dying my hair a bright, crazy colour! So when they brought out these I had to buy one as they wash out!
I chose the pastel pink colour called Rose, I only applied a small amount of colour but it is very easy to build it up and it doesn't make your hair dry and chalky which is a bonus! As I only applied a small amount it washed out after one wash but it does say it can last 3-4 washes and you also get a sharpener included.
I would definitely buy one of these again and would try the other colours as they all are very cool colours!
