|October Favourites

It's favourites time again! I have been using some new beauty products as well as old favourites!

|Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter
I have used this product for years and will always go back to it. It's is very thick and moisturising.

|Katy Perry `Purr` Perfume
I bought this a while ago and it has just been sat at the back of my dresser! It is a strong scent but I really like it also it is one of them perfume that smells better the longer you have Bern wearing it!

|Make Up Revolution baked highlighter
This is the only highlighter I have been using this month. It is a very pigmented champagne coloured highlight. The shade is peach lights.

|MUA Bronzer
I loved this last year and then just forgot about it. For only £1 I think this is on of the best value products available in the drugstore. You get a lot of product for your money, there are 4 shades available and I use shade 1.

|Rimmel Wake Me Up
I had never seen these before but then I saw it for 79p in B+M I had to get it! I'm not entirely sure what this is actually for but I use it as a blush. It gives the most beautiful pink sheen and it lasts all day. There is a little shimmer but I like that! This is the shade 002 radiant rose.

|Baked eyeshadow
This eye shadow is from Savers and was only £1! It doesn't have a name or number it's a gold and dark purple. Gold/bronze eyeshadows are my favourite I have so many but still need more! There was quite a lot of shades available. It's very pigmented it is the bottom swatch below.

|Favourite Autumn/Winter Fragrances

At Autumn and Winter time I like to wear heavier and stronger scents than summer. Here are some of my favourites.

Diptyque 'Baies'
I know this isn't a perfume, it is a room fragrance but it's is one of my favourite scents ever! I always love my room and house to smell like this. It lasts for hours and you only need two sprays and it fills the room!

Paco Rabane One Million
This is the male version as I prefer this to the lady version! This last for days and that is no exaggeration!! It doesn't smell to masculine because if it did I wouldn't wear it!

Katy Perry 'Purr'
This kind of smells similar to another perfume but I cannot think of it at all and its beginning to annoy me! This has a lot of different notes including 'White jasmine blossom, sandalwood, white Amber and vanilla orchids' amongst many other. This is one of them scents that smells nicer the longer you wear it, nit that it doesn't smell nice when you first put it on!

Jean Paul Gaultier 'Classique'
This will always be my favourite perfume, it is just so feminine and classy. I know this can be to strong for some people as again the scent lasts of days on whatever clothing you had been wearing.

Lady Gaga 'The Fame'
As you can see I like celebrity perfumes! They are less expensive normally than big brands but as just as good! The notes of this are 'honey, Saffron and apricot nectar'

Top 5| NYX Products

I'm back with my Top 5 posts, this time it's NYX! I don't own a large amount because it's not that readily available in the UK I don't think yet.

1| Pin Up Tease Mascara| £4.50
One of my favourite mascara ever! It separates and lengthens lashes amazingly! I definitely need to buy a new one as this one is running out!

2| Soft Matte Lip Cream| £5.50
There is a big range of colours in this range. These are kind of the same as the Collection creame puff matte lipsticks which I know are easier to get hold of! These are very matte as the name suggests but they are comfortable to wear and last quite a while.

3| Jumbo Eye Pencil| £5.00
I know these are talked about a lot in the blogger world but they are great! I really want to try the milk shade of these because they are great as a base for eye shadows.

4| Powder Blush| £6.00
This blushes are very much raved about in the blogger world but they are so good!! The shade in the picture is expresso and it is perfect as a contouring blush.

5| Butter Gloss| £5.00
This gloss in Eclar is one of my favourites ever! It's is a non sticky formula and is pigmented enough to wear alone or on top of a lipstick.

Review| W7 Eye Products*

I was sent these products to try by W7. I have tried a few of the boxed blushes from W7 and I love them, so I was excited to try these. W7 is a brand that you don't really hear that much about and you should because they have great products!

W7 black liquid eyeliner| £1.49
I'm not too great at liquid eye liner it takes me ages to apply! The applicator of this eye liner is thin so that makes it easier! It lasted all day without fading which is amazing, eyeliner always fades on me! It is pigmented and actually stays black!

Perfect eyes eyeshadow| £1.45
I love the colour of this eyeshadow, it would look great with Smokey eye. I was surprised how pigmented this actually is. The shade is Atlantis. I can't wait to use this in a make up look!

Lashtastic mascara| £1.75
I haven't used this much, only tried it as I already have quite a few mascaras on the go and want to use them up but I will probably have a review on this when I do use it!

Overall, I think W7 is a great brand, it's really affordable. I will definitely be trying more products! You can purchase the products from fragrance direct or the W7 website.

                                                             Thanks for looking...

Top 5| Soap and Glory Products

Soap & glory is one of my favourite brands I have tried quite a lot of products but still have a lot more to try!

1| The Righeous Butter| £10.50
I have used this body butter for years, it is very moisturizing and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. I will always repurchase this as it Is the best I have tried!

2| Hand Food| £5.50
This is the best hand cream I have ever used! I have very dry hands and this makes them feel soft. It is a non greasy formula.

3| Thick & Fast Mascara| £10.00
I only tried this mascara a few months ago and it is one of the best I have ever used! I have a full review here.

4| Butter Yourself Lotion| £10.00
This lotion isn't as thick as the body butter but it is as nourishing. It had the typical soap and glory scent! I always find these body butter and lotions last for months so they are great value.

5| Glad Hair Day Shampoo & Conditioner| £5.50 each
I have used this on and off for about 7 months as I'm always trying new shampoo and conditioners. This is a clear gel like liquid that doesn't lather up too much but it makes your hair feel squeaky clean! I have recently ran out but they will definitely be repurchased!

Review| Herbal Essences Naked Shampoo & Conditioner

I picked these new products up after seeing them advertised on tv, every now and then I do like to change to a clear shampoo, I don't know why I just feels it removes product build up but I don't know if it actually does! I got these for £1 each in Asda which I thought was unusual because they are new and that is really cheap! I think the offer may still be on but the normal price I'd £2.99 each. I've used them about 6 times now and they've made my hair feel so soft, shiny and squeaky clean!
The shampoo is white tea and mint scent and the conditioner is grapefruit and mint. You can get both scents in each product but I choose two different!

Top 5| products for fair skin

As a fair skinned girl I find it very hard to find products to match my skin tone and do not look orange or muddy on my face, so I thought I would share my top 5 that I have found work best.

|Rimmel foundations| £6.99 - £8.99
Rimmel is the only drug store brand that I have tried with a range of light shades, I use the shade light porcelain which is the perfect match. I much prefer this to Mac studio fix as I have it in nc15 and that is still too dark!

|Collection lasting perfection concealer |£5.49
Another product I could never find light enough was concealer until this one. I use fair 1 and it matches my skin amazingly!

|Benefit hoola bronzer| £23.50
I love this bronzer it is one of the best colours bronzer I have used, the other ones I have tried have either to dark or muddy.

|Pink blush
I think pink blush looks amazing on fair skin as it gives that "English Rose" look which I love. Any pink blush looks great and there are hundreds available but my favourite at the minute is make up revolution in now.

|Sleek contour kit| £6.49
As bronzer can be hard to find I have included my join favourite one ever! It is such a great match for fair skin, it is Matte and does not look muddy at all. I use the shade light. The highlighter that is in the kit is one of my favourites ever, so it's really great value.

You Beauty Discovery Box| October Edition

I was so excited about this box when I saw the choices! An illamasqua lipstick which is £18.50 and the box is only £6.95!!
The lipstick is the illamasqua glamour lipstick In cherub, it is a dark orange/pink. I also chose a Mememe Cherub's blush cheek and lip tint, which I have seen quite a few times and have been wanting to try it but I haven't found anywhere that sells this brand.
The samples what everybody got in there box was a Cowshed anti aging night serum sample, the other item was a gold collagen drink/liquid that says it's for over 40's so I won't be using that and it also smells awful!

Overall, this box has probably been my favourite because of the lipstick!

Review| Montague Jeunesse face masks

Just a short post today, Everybody has seen these before and they are widely available but I wanted to share my favourite ones as I seem to be going through a phase of loving them!

I have never really used face masks before as I have sensitive skin and when I previously used any mask they it broke me out. I have been testing quite a few of this brand out they have been fine, no breakouts. For only £1 or so depends on where you buy them, they are really affordable. I still have a lot these to try but my favourites are the blemish mask and the strawberry mask which smells amazing! I'm going to continue to try them all, I have been looking for the mud mask but haven't found it yet!

Review| Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip

I received this in a beauty box last month and was very pleased with it! I'm not normally one to use creams in my hair because it gets oily very fast so If i use just a little too much I have to wash my hair again but this is different! I only use a pea sized amount and then work that into my roots. It has a slight fragrance but nothing to overpowering. It states to add full body with movement and it does! My hair does have more lift when I use this and my hair is naturally quite flat.
This is £7.19 from Boots and it is completely worth it!

Review| Collection Little Mix 'All about the eyes' Palette

I have been searching for this palette ever since it was released and have finally found it! I wanted it because the colours are all right up my street! For only £2.99 it is amazing value, you get 6 shades which are shimmery, the highlight shade and black are less shimmery just more like a slight sheen, which I don't mind because I love shimmer! The shadows are highly pigmented and blend very easily. The gold shadows do have quite large chunks of glitter and they can be seen on the lid so if you don't like shimmer this isn't for you!
I would definitely recommend you go a pick this up as it is not only amazing value, it is very compact and ideal for travel.

Review| Make Up Revolution Primer*

I was very kindly sent the make up revolution ultra face base primer by Product Testing UK.

Make up revolution has become one of my favourite brands in the last few months. The primer feels silicone based but I don't mind that. It is very soft and makes your skin feel smooth. It doesn't have a scent and is a clear gel kind of consistency. I really like this primer because it felt great on my skin and didn't break me out like I know some silicone based products can. The primer is available online and in Superdrug for £5.00 and it is definitely worth it!

If you want to join the Product Testing UK beauty blogger list I will leave the link Here.

Thank you to Product Testing Uk for sending me this product, Their website is www.producttesting.uk.com if you would like to take a look!

|Walton Hall

I recently went to Walton hall and gardens near Warrington, a place I have never heard of until I started watching "Our Zoo" on BBC1 as this is the place where some of it is filmed. It is a lovely place and if you live nearby I would recommend a visit, it's lovely!
