FOTD: Bronze/Copper Eye!

Bronze/Copper Eye Look:

The Bronze eye shadow is a big trend this season so I thought I would show you my take on it! I find that this particularly brings out blue and green eyes as mine are a mixture and I find that the contrast in colours looks amazing! But im sure it would look great on brown eyes too!  The eye shadows I used are some that I de-potted from a set I was given for Christmas but there are plenty of bronze eye shadows available!

(Sorry about the lighting on the picture!)

MAC Studio fix NC15 and Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation (Soft Ivory):
I have written about the MAC foundation before and I think everybody knows what it is and what it like so I won't bore you with that! I mix these two together as the Rimmel one is a bit too dark and the mac one has been drying my skin out recently when used on its own but together they are fine. The Rimmel foundation is only available in America I think! but I ordered it online, It a really nice foundation but im not sure I would repurchase it but I have only used it a few times so far!

Along Came Betty Eye Primer:
This is a new purchase but I have not stopped using it, It makes my eye shadow last all day and for £1.50 I think I will be stocking up!

MUA Eyebrow Pencil (Blonde) and Primark Eye Liner:
I don't usually like eyebrow pencils as they can be very waxy and clumpy but I really like this one as it is none of them! It is such a bargain at £1.50! it is definitely worth a try. The eye liner has been featured in a haul a few weeks ago and I haven't stopped using it since, I wasn't expecting much from it but it has become one of my favourite pencil eye liners, you can use this your upper or lower lash line as it doesn't drag on your skin!

MUA Colour blast Eye Shadow Tint (Stay):
I got this as it was 3 for 2 on MUA products so I just picked it up! I used it as an inner corner highlight. It is okay but nothing to shout about I would say!

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlight:
I had seen a lot of mixed reviews about this, I really like it, the highlight is not natural so if you like the natural look I wouldn't recommend it for you and it is quite difficult to blend but other that then I enjoy using this highlight!

MUA Clear Mascara:
This post is becoming very MUA related now I didn't even realise I used so much MUA products! I use this to set my brows, it's great this as it doesn't leave your brows sticky and it dries very quick.

Bourjois Blush (37 Rose Pompon):
Pink blushes are my favourite and this is a soft pink I am going to be including this in an upcoming  post so im not going to talk about it too much!

Sleek Contour Kit (Light):
Again I have blogged about this before so won't go into to much detail but it is my favourite product to contour with!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (Light):
I use this concealer when I highlight and contour, I put this under my eyes, down my nose, on my forehead and on my chin, or any place that I think the light would naturally hit.

NYX Butter Gloss (Éclair) and Loreal Julianne nude lipstick:
Once again I have included these items in another blog! I didn't realise how much items I have written about before, I will try not to do that again. These two products go amazing together as they are similar colours!

February Favourites!

February Favourites:

It's that time again, monthly favourites! I don't have a lot of items but I thought it was enough for a blog post! Mostly make up items but with a few make up tools!
Here they are:

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and Contour Brush:
I have an individual post on the sponge which will be up soon or might already be up that will be in depth but it is the best sponge I have ever used to apply foundation and concealer. This brush is also the best brush I have used to contour, it is the perfect shape and just the right size to define the cheekbones.

Maybelline Baby Lips (Peach Punch):
The other Baby Lips I find aren't that amazing, except this one and the Mint one. The pink one fades really easy and seems to bleed very quickly, I love the smell of this one and the colour is sheer but you can build it up.

Primark False Nails:
I have been wearing these throughout the month all different designs and they last so well and for only £1, These are such a bargain and look more expensive than the price! I have a post on these with a lot more information, If you wanted a more in depth review.

Along Came Betty Eye Primer:
I have mention this briefly before but this is an amazing product again it was such a bargain at £1.50!! It says that it is a primer but it could just been worn alone to give just block out and marks on your eyelid which I have used it for!

MUA Eyebrow Pencil (Blonde):
This the only eye brow pencil I own as I normally use powder but I have been using this as it is easier and quicker!

Primark Eye Liner:
I didn't expect much from this with it only being £1 but I am pleasantly surprised with this as it is great, I use it for my water line and under my lower lash line.

Boots Simply Sensitive Eye Cream:
I have become obsessed with eye creams recently and just seem to be buying everyone that I see! I have been using twice a day for about a month and my under eye area feels so soft and smooth.

Bourjois Blush (Rose Pompon):
I have mentioned this in a Fotd post and this is the only blush I have been wearing this month, it is a lovely subtle colour that gives you a flushed look!

Jean Paul Gaultier Classique:
This will forever be my favourite perfume, it just smells so sophisticated and classy. The scent is so long lasting I can still smell it for about a day after I have first sprayed it!

Pretty Neutrals!

Pretty Neutrals:

I have been searching for  what seems like agessss for a new handbag and I had been in a lot of different stores trying to find that perfect bag! Zara is normally new favourite places to buy my hand bags as they look really expensive but are also affordable. I eventually found this beauty in New Look and it gets better is was only £19.99!! I think this the bargain of the year so far!!

I am a handbag hoarder and am always on the look out for a new one! This one I feel is inspired by the Celine Trapeze tote bag which is around £1500!! The pretty colours are perfect for spring as in spring I like to change my bag from the usual black or brown bags I usually use. Suede is the material on the side sections and the middle panel is soft faux leather. The Top panel with the clasp is kind of a mock croc material. The bag is soft but sturdy enough to stand up on its on and the inside has a lot of room so if you don not travel light this is perfect for you!

I hope you enjoyed my first fashion/accessories post!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: Review!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: Review!

Hii everyone!
I was sceptical about this product if im honest because I haven't used a lot of sponges to apply foundation and the one I used was the Model's Own sponges that were absolutely terrible! They were far to dense and just soaked up the foundation so that put my off sponges but I'm so glad I bought this one! It is really soft and thankfully it doesn't soak up any product, I think that is why I love this one so much as the Model's Own sponge left my face red after I had used it.

This is amazing!! and im not just jumping on the band wagon! I think it has to be the best thing I have ever applied my foundation with. It gives the most flawless, even finish. My skin felt so soft like I didn't even have any make up on! There were no lines like some brushes do leave when you buff it in. I also use it to blend in my under eye concealer as it is really soft and does not move or slide the product around my face!

I can not recommend this product enough! I think everybody should go out and buy it as you will not be disappointed!

Avon Ultra Colour Lip Crayon!

Avon Ultra Colour Lip Crayon:
I have purchased the odd Avon product throughout the years but I've not used anything from there for a while and when I got this for Christmas I thought I would review it! I love the colour this shade is probably one of my favourite to wear in any lipstick! The product when its in the crayon looks really glittery but when its on you can't really see it. It is very highly pigmented!  It is really long lasting to, its stays on when you have a drink or eat which I find is rare for a lipstick!

There are 6 colours in the range and this one is 'Fresh Fuchsia'. They are £8.50 which I think is a reasonable price as that is around the same price as similar drug store lip crayons.

Beauty Joint Haul!

Beauty Joint Haul:

Hello! I have yet another haul for you but this is quite a small one but I wanted to show you what I have bought as I have never ordered eyelashes before because I used to wear semi permanent individual lashes for quite a while but I decided to give my eyes a break and just use strip lashes which I am terrible at applying myself! but as they say practice makes perfect!

Cherry Blossom and Ardell are brands that I always hear people talking about in the blogging/You tube world so I decided I would try lashes from them! Here I have 3 #01 lashes which are kind of natural but full and feathery if that is possible!! One pair in #20 which are mid length and very full. The last ones are in #100 which are very, very dramatic!! im not sure if there are going to suit me as I have quite small eyes and I think they may drown them out but we will see!!
The Ardell lashes I have are the Demi Wispies which are kind of cult lashes!! I heard so may people talking about these that I just had to try them for myself! I think these are my favourite ones as they flick out at the outer corners and look very fluttery!

Real Techniques are some of my favourite brushes and I don't  have this set so I thought I would just get it as some of my brushes are getting a little old now! I have been reading reviews on the Miracle Complexion Sponge and all of them were positive so I wanted to try it out! I may write a review on the sponge soon!

Spring Lipsticks!

Spring Lipsticks:
In Spring I love pink and coral lips and as we are nearing spring I thought I would show you  my favourite spring time lipsticks!

MAC Speed Dial:
This was my first ever MAC purchase,  So I think it will always be one if my favourite lipsticks! Its a cream sheen which are my favourite lipsticks as I think that they look a little glossy and don't dry out my lips!  The colour is medium pink.

Bourjois Colour boost: Peach On The Beach:
These lipsticks were all over the blogger world last year and they had a right to be! They are amazing, the lasting power is one of the best I have seen in any lipstick. This colour is perfect for brightening up any make up look!

L'oreal Julianne's nude:
I have already featured this lipstick in another blog post, so I won't go on about it again but it its is really lovely pink colour!

Bourjois Colour boost: Orange Punch:
This is a bright orange/coral shade that I think would look great on any skin tone! The picture doesn't really do the colour any justice as it its a lot brighter! The colour be great to wear with a simple neutral eye look!

MAC Sunny Seoul:
Another pink colour surprise surprise!! I love MACs pink shades, It is a light pink colour but it is quite sheer but is build able. This is also a cream sheen lip stick, I feel that the cream sheen's last longer on my lips.

Swatches L-R as on the first picture.

Beauty Haul!

Beauty Haul:
Hey guys!

I just can't seem to stop myself from buying make up!! So I have a haul for you, most of the items are from the 'Along Came Betty' range available in Tesco! I have used some of their make up products before and their brow powder is my favourite brow product. I'm not sure if they have released some now products because what I have bought is the first time I have seen them! I also have a few products from MUA. The Along Came Betty products were all less than £2 which is an absolute bargain!

MUA Matte Palette:
I never used to like matte eye shadows but recently I have seen quite a lot of  eye looks just using matte shades and I wanted to try and recreate them! The colours in this palette are perfect for me as I use neutrals the most. I haven't used it yet so I can't tell you if it lives up to the quality of the other MUA palettes!

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder:
I have heard mixed reviews on this product but I thought I would try it out for myself. Highlighting is one of the favourite parts of my make up routine so I like to try any highlighting product! It swatches really nice lets just hope its as nice on the skin!

Eye Shadow Primer:
I normally use an eye shadow pencil as a base and I wanted to try out an actual eye primer and this one was only £1.50 so there was nothing to lose on this one! I haven't tried it yet but am looking forward to see if it works.

'Dare to Define' Eye liner:
This is just like a huge felt tip! I have been using eye liner pens a lot so when I saw this for £1 I couldn't leave it! I am yet to use this but with the size of the nib it should be easier to create a winged liner!

'Absolutely Flawless' Foundation:
I picked this up in medium which is too dark for my natural skin colour but im sure it will be fine when im wearing fake tan! I tried this and it felt smooth and easily blend able but I didn't keep it on long enough to give a full review but I will be trying it soon!

'Wow Lashes' and 'Longest Lash' Mascaras:
I am kind of a mascara hoarder and am always looking to add to the collection and when I saw these for £1.50 each I had to snap them up!! One is supposed to be lengthening and the other to add volume, I will  be trying these soon as I already have quite a few others open and want to use then up first!

'It's Eye Time' Eye Shadow quad:
The quad contains 3 shades to create a smoky eye and a black waxy product to use as an eye liner. I will be doing a review on this as I haven't used any eye shadows from this brand yet.

'Double Whammy' Lipstick and Lip gloss:
This is a double ended lipstick and lip gloss which I always like as they are so handy just to pop in your handbag! I have swatched the lipstick and it seemed quite sheer but it could be built up and the lip gloss is opaque and could be worn alone not just on top of the lip stick!

MUA Mosaic Blush!

MUA mosaic blush - English rose

This blush has been one of my favourites ever since it appeared in super drug! This is my second one as I dropped my other one and it broke! :( It is a bargain at £2.50 and with the range of colours it gives you a lovely subtle rosy glow but it is build able so you can have it as dramatic as you would like. I also have the mosaic bronzer which I haven't used much but think I will be digging out to use again!

I think that you could get away with not using a highlighter if you wanted to as it is very illuminating! I would recommend you try this if you like a subtle rosy pink blush!

Primark False Nails: Review!

Primark False Nails: Review!

I purchased these because I saw/read quite a few reviews on them and there was not one bad review! I decided to buy 2 packets a plain glittery nail and a stripy nail. I then went and bought 3 more packets because I loved them that much! There are only 4 here as I had used the glittery ones!

Some of the nails do feel a little too plastic when you take them out of the packet but when you have stuck them on they feel fine! There is a huge range of designs from cats to strawberries to plain colours! The nails I feel look really natural as they are the perfect length and not too long where they and just ping off if you catch them on something! The glittery ones lasted me 5 days altogether! which I think is good going considering they were only £1!! I still have the stripy nails on so I don't know if these ones will last any different!

ELF Jumbo Eye shadow Stick: Review!

ELF Jumbo Eye shadow Stick: Review!

I have mentioned one of these eye shadow sticks briefly in a previous post but  I thought I would do a review on them because they are amazing!

I purchased these not really expecting a lot as the previous eye shadow sticks I have used that been useless! The consistency of these is very creamy and they blend super easily which I was surprised at! There is shimmer in all of the colours. They are also highly pigmented so there is no need to use a lot of product.  I have 3 ways to use these and they are as a base for my eye shadow, as an eye liner on my lower lash line and just as an eye shadow!!
The colours I have starting with the lightest are: 'Little Miss Thing', 'Turkish Coffee' and 'Check Me Out'. The only dislike I have is that for the size of the packaging you get a small  amount of product.

I will be purchasing more of these soon as they are fantastic! If you like creamy eye shadows I think you will love this!
